We are proud to present Sue Griffin as our fourth candidate for 2007. Sue has been a Ringwood resident for 11 years and is currently a homemaker and civic volunteer. Previous occupations include Vice President of Operations at International Clinical Laboratories, Inc. and owner of MedPro Inc., a medical temporary agency providing clinical laboratory, data entry, phlebotomy personnel to hospitals and private laboratories in the Boston area.Sue served on the Ringwood Board of Education for 2 terms, and as President for 3 years. She was part of a three person team that restarted the Ringwood Education Foundation and was on the Starlight Farms Board of Directors. Sue was co-leader of “Make a Difference,” a PTO program at MJ Ryerson School. She also served on the Hewitt School PTO and Erskine School PTO as co-president, and as a Computer Aide in Erskine and Hewitt schools, giving her the needed experience and understanding of our school system to face the important issues concerning Ringwood’s parents and children. Sue has a BS in Medical Technology/Health Science from Merrimack College, an MPH in Health Service Administration from Yale University School of Medicine and served a Medical Technology Internship at Boston Veterans Administration Hospital. Her husband, Brian, is Director of Market Research at Thomson Scientific & Healthcare. The Griffins have two children, William, 16, who attends Lakeland Regional High School and Kelsey Griffin, 15, at MJ Ryerson Middle School. Sue’s goal as councilperson is to ensure open, honest, efficient, responsible government that is fair to all. |
