Tell Me More About the Club

After years of inactivity, the RDO was revitalized in 2017. Old members felt reenergized and were joined by fresh new members who felt the need to get involved at the local level. After a strong year which saw the election of three Democrats to the Borough of Ringwood Council, the RDO is riding a wave of momentum which we hope to carry into 2019 and beyond.

The RDO’s main focus is supporting Democratic candidates at the local, state, and federal levels. Our main focus is on the Borough of Ringwood, but it is by no means our only focus. During local election cycles (every two years), the RDO supports Democratic candidates by having fundraisers, phone banking, going door-to-door, registering voters, and more.

For a long time, Democrats in Ringwood felt alone in a town long dominated by Republicans. Those days are coming to an end. If you’d like to help Democrats get elected to office or simply spend one night a month with like-minded individuals, the RDO is for you.
